Two football teams were playing each other in the championship game - the Insects vs. the Mammals.
During the fourth quarter, the ball is tossed to their running back, a rhino. He bursts down the sideline, headed straight for the end zone. Right before he gets there, however, he is knocked down by a centipede of the Insects!
The centipede's coach, nearly speechless, calls him over and says, "Centipede, I can't believe that play? Where were you the entire game?"
The centipede replied, "Sorry, coach, I've been in the locker room tying my shoes."
