This Chinese guy named Manuel Rodriquez was asked why and how he has a Spanish
surename. He explained:
The nearest I can figure is that when I came to America, I had to go through
the US Immigration Office. There was a long line of people. I lined up behind this
Hispanic Guy. When he got to the desk, the Immigration Officer asked for his name.
He answered, "Manuel Rodriquez." The office gave him his papers and he
walked away.
Then I walked up. the Immigration Officer asked for my name.
I told him, "Sam Ting."
