This little boy wanted to buy some candies off a guy on the sidewalk. He asked the man how much were the candies.
The Man told him the they are 3 cents a piece.
The kid counted his money and found that he had only 8 cents. But he wanted 3 pieces. So, he closed his fist. Handed the man the pennies and said, "3 time 3 is equals 10. Here are ten pennies for 3 pieces!"
The man thought that he has just found a sucker. So, he dumped the pennies in his cigar box and gave the kid 3 pieces of candies. The boy ran off.
Moments later, the boy came back and said to the man, "Hey, pop, I've cheated myself. 3 times 3 is only 9! You owe me a penny!"
The boy got his penny back!
